Please find below information regarding our centre’s policies and procedures.
Arrival and Departures
Upon enrolment at Endeavour Hills Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten you will be given a code to the front security door. Care must be taken to ensure the safety of children at both arrival and departure times.
Details of those other than parents who are authorised to collect your child must be recorded on the enrolment form. Arrival and departure records (sign in/out iPad) is found at the reception desk.
Illness
Our centre has a comprehensive illness policy that parents must familiarize themselves with upon enrolment. A copy is readily available and in the parent policy folder at reception.
Please refer to the notice board in the foyer for any infectious diseases as set out by the Department of Human Services.
Queries and Concerns
Our centre operates and ‘open door policy’ inviting parents to discuss any concerns, queries or complaints with the director and educators as we value your involvement and support.
Late Fees
A fee of $2.00 per minute will be charged after 6:00pm. We understand that delays or emergencies can happen so please call the centre to inform educators that you will be running late.
Hours Of Operation
Our centre is open from 7:00am until 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
We are closed on Victorian public holidays – Gap fee is still applied on these days.
Payment of Fees
Statements are accessible through your Xplor account 24/7.
Endeavour Hills Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten use direct debit system, that will automatically withdraw your fees on nominated day, alternatively Direct Deposit can be made, and bank details are available within your enrolment pack.
Fees must be paid regardless of attendances; daily rates apply for sick days and public holidays.
Endeavour Hills Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten does not offer holiday entitlement, daily rate still applies.
Child Care Management System (CCMS)
The Child Care Management System (CCMS) is a national childcare system that will bring approved childcare centres online with the government. Each childcare centre uses their CCMS registered software to record child enrolment and attendance information.
Endeavour Hills Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten reports this data to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) via the internet to allow calculations and payment of Child Care Benefit and Rebate fee reductions on behalf of children in the care.
